Lees Computers does not agree with or support pirated software. Lees computers will refuse to deal with software problems on systems that have counterfeit Windows® installations installed on them. If a PC or laptop comes in for repair which is using an illegal operating system we will repair harware issues but will not touch the operating system until the customer agrees to go genuine and have a legal copy of Windows® installed on it.
We can re-install every current version of Microsoft Windows® . XP Home, XP Pro, Xp Media Centre Edition, Vista Home Basic, Vista Home Premium, Vista Ultimate and all versions of Windows 7. 32 bit or 64 bit versions installed. All installations are activated and fully updated. All you need is a system that is legal and has a genuine Microsoft® COA sticker attached with a readable Product key. All our installations have the system drivers installed and all available service packs and updates from Microsoft®. We can also install An antivirus of your choice or let us install G Data on your system. G Data is protecting our own systems as we only trust the best when security is an issue.
Please note that all systems that arrive at our premises for repair must firstly have a genuine copy of Microsoft® Windows with a genuine certificate of authentication attached to the system. And secondly must not be using a Microsoft® operating system pre Windows XP. On the right are two imagesso you can see what a Microsoft certificate of authentication looks like.
Some netbooks come shipped from manufacturers without a Microsoft operating system and are pre installed with a Linux operating system. An example would be that Acer was shipping a version of its Aspire One netbook with Linux, this system had a tiny 8GB solid state hardrive (SSD). We can replace this and other Linux based operating systems.
We can install any version of Linux that the customer requires. We offer advice on the best version of Linux to suit your needs. We can also supply you with Linux CD’s or DVD’s. Why not get your Linux Version from us as a live bootable disc so you can try it before you install it. Or just keep the disc for when your Windows crashes to get an instant internet ready operating system with a built in office suite.
